It is raining here today, but notions of and prayers for Christian Unity remain strong. Although the clouds today hide the sun here, Light Itself, Our Lord Jesus, burns bright in human souls everywhere. This apparent darkness directs the human mind to focus even more fervently on the Mystery unseen.
Heavenly Father,
Today you raised Your Son from the dead.
Fill us with Your Spirit,
and unite all peoples in love and justice.
May we grow in renewed hope and faith
in Your promise of Life-Everlasting.
We ask this through Christ, Our Lord,
who lives and reigns with You and
the Holy Spirit, One God, for ever and ever.
